I discovered yoga in my mid-twenties when I was seeking healthier habits and emotional stability. I quickly fell in love with the practice and got certified as a yoga instructor in 2019. I started teaching Hatha, Yin and Chair yoga.
In 2024, during my pregnancy with my daughter, I pursued additional training in prenatal yoga and started teaching expecting Mothers. That experience deepened my passion for supporting women and families through the powerful transition of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Today, I hold over 1,000 hours of yoga training, specializing in Hatha, therapeutics, and pre- and postnatal yoga.
My personal journey has also shaped the work I do. I lost my Mother as a teenager, so when I became pregnant, I deeply felt the absence of her presence and support. Grieving her loss during pregnancy and postpartum was difficult, but thankfully my yoga practice was a grounding tool for my healing. I was also fortunate to have the guidance of an incredible doula whose nurturing care made me feel supported in ways I had longed for. Her presence was transformative and it inspired me to become a doula. I became a postpartum doula through DONA International in 2025.
I believe that with compassion, evidence-based knowledge, and the support of a doula, the postpartum journey can be met with greater ease and confidence. My intention is to support and hold space for new parents as they navigate this tender, transformative season.
