Doula means “to serve.” I am deeply committed to serving parents with respect, mindfulness, and adaptability.

My goal is to support families in their recovery after birth—nurturing the birth parent, assisting with newborn care, and creating space for rest and self-care. I offer gentle, compassionate guidance as parents discover their own unique ways of bonding and nurturing their baby. I also provide education on soothing methods and coping techniques to ease the transition.

Services include the following:

• Provide the birthing parent & newborn care, education and reassurance

• Facilitate rest & assist in recovery from the strain of labor and birth

• Listen & help process the birth story, free of judgment

• Provide physical, emotional and mental support (through holistic practices such as yoga and mindfulness).

• Help with other children adjusting to new baby

• Light household help to maximize mother/baby bonding (such as baby’s laundry, bottles & pump parts washing, nursery tidying up)

• Hydration support & assistance with food preparation of light meals

• Errands & grocery shopping (funds to be provided by client in advance)

• Escort to health care appointments, support groups, errands etc.

• Telephone access 24/7 for any questions or concerns

• Guidance and local referrals as needed

• Address other postpartum issues if they arise

Fees & Hours

• Complementary consultation

• Prenatal in person meeting for postpartum prep & planning- $100 per hour (approx 1-2 hrs)

•Doula Services - Weekdays, late evening, overnights, multiples, NICU, special needs, etc. range between $55 and $75/hr. (4 hr shift minimum; 8 hr maximum)

• Sliding Scale, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ consideration available

• Discount packages- TBD

• Limited late night shifts TBD on an individual basis.
